This tower is a part of the Lambert mansion which was built in 1892 as the home of Catholina Lambert, the owner of a prominent silk company in Paterson. Mr. Lambert was an English immigrant and insisted on constructing his home in a Medieval architectural style reminiscent of the castles in Great Britain that he remembered from his youth. The castle and tower were built using solid granite and sandstone which was quarried from the surrounding hills. A true Paterson gem and shining example of american capitalism. Wear it with pride!
